KC CHIEFS QB PATRICK MAHOMES (4-1 odds) IS THE BIG FAVORITE TO WIN THE NFL MVP AWARD THIS SEASON. LAST YEARS WINNER, RAVENS QB LAMAR JACKSON (13-2) IS THE SECOND PICK FOLLOWED BY COWBOYS QB DAK PRESCOTT (9-1) AND SEATTLE QB RUSSELL WILSON (12-1). CAROLINA RB CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY IS THE TOP NON-QB ON THE LIST WITH 40-1 ODDS. THE LAST NON-QB TO WIN THE MVP AWARD WAS ADRIAN PETERSON IN 2012.

MLB OWNERS HAVE APPROVED A PROPOSAL TO PRESENT TO PLAYERS ON PLAN TO GET BACK ON THE FIELD BY EARLY JULY. MLB EXECS AND NION OFFICIALS WILL MEET FOR NEGOTIATIONS. MONEY IS EXPECTED TO BE THE BIGGEST STICKING POINT. OWNERS EXPECT TO LOSE AROUND 40% OF REVENUES WITH NO FANS BUYING TICKETS, THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THE LOSS WITH THE PLAYERS. THE PLAYERS UNION IS NOT EXPECTED TO ACCEPT THAT WITHOUT A FIGHT.

THE PRO GOLF TOUR HAS A COMEBACK PLAN. THE PGA WANTS TO RETURN TO PLAY ON JUNE 11TH AT THE COLONIAL TOURNAMENT IN FORT WORTH. THE PGA ALSO HAS NEW DATES FOR THEIR MAJOR TOURNAMENTS. THEY WILL BE PLAYING JUST 3 OF THE 4 TOURNAMENTS, DROPPING THE BRITISH OPEN.
– THE PGA CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE THE FIRST MAJOR STARTING AUGUST 9TH.
– THE US OPEN WILL GO SEPTEMBER 17TH
– THE MASTERS WILL START NOVEMBER 12TH
– THE RYDER CUP IS STILL SCHEDULED FOR SEPT. 25TH
– NO OTHER MAJOR SPORTS LEAGUES THAT HAVE POSTPONED THEIR SEASONS HAVE ANNOUNCED A FORMAL RETURN TO ACTION.
