THE BLUES SCORED BOTH THEIR GOALS IN THE FIRST PERIOD AND THEN HUNG ON IN THE FINAL MINUTES OF THE GAME FOR THE WIN. THE SERIES IS NOW TIED AT TWO WINS APIECE AS THEY HEAD TO SAN JOSE FOR GAME 5 ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. GAME 6 IN THE SERIES WILL BE BACK IN ST. LOUIS ON TUESDAY.

THE LOSING CONTINUES FOR THE CARDINALS. THE RED BIRDS OPENED A THREE GAME SERIES IN TEXAS WITH A 7-3 LOSS TO THE RANGERS FRIDAY. THE CARDS HAVE SCORED JUST FIVE RUNS AND GONE 0 FOR 16 WITH RUNNERS IN SCORING POSITION THE LAST THREE GAMES, THEY HAVE LOST ALL THREE. THE CARDS HAVE GAMES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IN TEXAS BEFORE RETURNING HOME TO PLAY THE ROYALS NEXT TUESDAY.

THE ROYALS HAVE A WEEKEND SERIES IN ANAHEIM AGAINST THE ANGELS. AFTER THREE IN ANAHEIM THE ROYALS WILL TAKE MONDAY OFF AND THEN OPEN A QUICK TWO GAME SERIES IN ST. LOUIS ON TUESDAY.

THE MIZZOU LADY TIGERS WON THEIR FIRST GAME IN THE WOMEN’S NCAA SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT. THE LADY TIGERS BEAT CAL ST. FULLERTON 7-3 FRIDAY NIGHT.

THE MIZZOU TIGERS AND MSU BEARS BASEBALL TEAMS CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON PLAY THIS WEEKEND. THEY BOTH PLAY IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS NEXT WEEK.

THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS ARE GEARING UP FOR THEIR FIRST OTA (ORGANIZED TEAM ACTIVITIES) OFF SEASON WORKOUTS NEXT WEEK. THEY HAVE TWO SETS OF THESE CAMPS SCHEDULED FOR MAY, AND TWO MORE IN JUNE. THE TEAM HEADS TO TRAINING CAMP JULY 26TH AND OPEN PRESEASON GAMES SOON THERE AFTER.
