TOM BRADY – REPORTS ARE THE PATRIOTS ARE FINALIZING A NEW CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH QB TOM BRADY. THE NEW DEAL WOULD KEEP THE FUTURE HALL OF FAMER IN PADS THROUGH THE 2021 SEASON. HIS SALARY THIS YEAR WOULD BE $23 MILLION, $8 MILL MORE THAN LAST YEAR. BRADY JUST CELEBRATED HIS 42ND BIRTHDAY.

TCU KICKER INJURED – TCU KICKER COLE BUNCE WAS ON A SCOOTER ON CAMPUS WHEN HE WAS STRUCK BY A CAR. HE UNDERWENT EMERGENCY SURGERY AND WILL APPARENTLY MISS ALL OF THE UPCOMING SEASON. THE SCHOOL WOULD NOT RELEASE DETAILS ABOUT HIS INJURIES.

MISSOURI TIGERS FOOTBALL – THE MIZZOU TIGERS ARE BUSY GETTING READY FOR THE NEW SEASON. THIS IS THEIR FIRST FULL WEEK OF PRACTICE. THE TIGERS HAVE A NEW QUARTERBACK THIS YEAR, KELLY BRYANT TRANSFERRED FROM CLEMSON, WHERE HE LOST HIS STARTING JOB LAST SEASON.
